Addictions
Our approach to dealing with alcoholism and drug addiction is by no means unique, as it is used with great success in the U.K., Europe and the United States. Alcoholism and drug addiction can be described as a pathological dependence on ones drug of choice, despite the affects and consequences associated with its use. There may well be several serious emotional and behavioural problems which precipitate alcohol and drug abuse, fear, anger, frustration, stress, or a general emotional dis-ease, to name a few. Premier Counselling is "solution focused”, in addition to looking at the pre-disposing causes and addressing these. The main thrust of treatment is towards positive growth and change.
